This course is designed to provide the participant with a more extensive medical knowledge with greater emphasis being placed on medical emergencies that is not covered in the Level One training. Although this course is not a requirement of the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993, it is imperative that employees are empowered with more knowledge to take lead of emergency response teams and provide a safe and healthy environment for their fellow employees.
This comprehensive course covers a wide range of first aid emergencies, enabling all participants to prevent accidents through the development of a safety-oriented life style, recognise when first aid is needed and provide first aid treatment at the scene of an accident or sudden illness with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way until the Emergency Medical Services arrive, if needed. Certification is valid for 3 years and candidates must hold a valid Level One First Aid certificate.
